What We Do

What is a prenup?
A prenuptial agreement, commonly known as a “prenup,” is a legally binding contract made between two individuals before they enter into marriage. This agreement clearly outlines how assets, debts, and financial responsibilities will be handled in the event of a separation, divorce, or the death of a partner. Think of a prenup as a form of insurance—designed to protect your interests and provide clarity during what can be a challenging time. It helps prevent potential disputes by establishing fair terms in advance, ensuring both parties understand and agree on their financial arrangements. Creating a prenup is a proactive step to safeguard your assets, set expectations, and maintain peace of mind throughout your relationship.
Whether you are expecting an inheritance, or protecting certain assets, or even planning for provision of children from the previous marriage in the event of separation, it always advisable to seek legal advise from an expert to draft a suitable agreement in advance.
